Open - men or mixed crew in whatever ratio
Mixed - men and women in equal ratio
Entry Fee: HK$700 per rower (coxes race for free) including Event Tee
Boat Rental Fee: Coastal Double - HKD1600, Coastal Quad - HKD4000 ( You are also welcome to use your own coastal rowing boats which meets the FISA Coastal Rowing Boat standard )
Support Boat Rental : Safety Escort - Mandatory: Every crew is required to have a safety escort boat alongside them throughout the race. Safety escort boats can be arranged through RHKYC. Cost per boat will be in the range of HK$5,000. There must be a designated Safety Manager on board at all times who will keep in regular contact with race safety officials.

( Due to limited supply of coastal rowing boats. pre-registration for those who don't have a racing boat DOES NOT guarantee your race entries. If over subscribed, teams will be selected by Lucky Draw. )
Confirmation of Entries : 21st - 28th Oct 2022
This is a 45km sea race. The course will start at Kellett Island in the Victoria Harbour, going clockwise around the island, along Shek O and Stanley before arriving at Middle Island. The course then continues on past Aberdeen, Cyberport and Green Island before heading back into the bustling harbour and finally back to Kellett Island.
Change course competitors will change crews at Middle Island.
The course will then take rowers around Aberdeen, through the Harbour and back to Kellett Island.

There are two race briefings: you must attend one of two briefings.

This will be posted around 1 week before the race.

Spectator Boat - Optional: Junk Boats may not be used as support craft for the race. Junks may be used for spectators but they must remain behind the boat they are supporting and must not impede other crews or Safety Escort boats.
If you need any assistance in securing an escort boat, please choose the option during your registration.
For those who would like to hire coastal rowing boats from organizing committee, you can do that together with the registration.
